It is probably one of Auckland’s most preferred neighborhood, hence, also most expensive. From Freemans Bay – near Ponsonby – you can run down to Victoria Park, Waterfront and then following the Marina to Westhaven. From there it is really up to you: follow the streets running parallel to the coast of Home Bay (Sarsfield Street), Herne Bay (Argyle Street) right up to Coxs Bay (Marine Parade). It is a pleasant run offering quite interesting views on all the great houses and their gardens. Once arrived in Coxs Bay, return through Coxs Bay Park and Bayfield Park and try to catch Richmond Street (not particularly nice, but shortest way back home to Ponsonby-Freemans Bay).
