Whenever you feel like eating mexican, try the Mercado located in the heart of downtown Santa Monica. Its atmosphere is relaxed, authentic and vivid. The food is excellent and you’ll definitely be spoilt for choice: tortillas made by hand, the finest meats, poultry and seafood, enchiladas and tacos, produce from the local farmer’s market, flavorful sauces…enjoy!
We haven’t been too hungry when we visited the Robata Bar and we haven’t been sure what to expect: entering the Robata Bar you’ll find yourself in a Tokyo Pub, dark wood, long bar, television, laughter, relaxed and warm atmosphere and a grill. It’s different and it’s hilarious. To eat you get japanese robata – food grilled on sticks. The dishes are small and perfect to order one by one, just like you feel. And that’s exactly what we did: we ordered one by one, accompanied by a glas of wine, we took our time to enjoy the seabass, chicken, meat balls and to listen to the sounds of an amazing dark Tokyo Pub.
