It’s a cosy pace in New Plymouth, although shortly before 9 am there are some “nearly hectical” activities sensible; pupils stroll towards schools, cars find their ways to offices and the coffees are wrapped up in business! And that’s my favourite coffee hour: busy, laughing, discussing people all over, the flavour of fresh croissants, omelettes and coffee in the air – fabulous!
We gave a shot on almost all of them: the colorful, nice coffee places in New Plymouth CBD and all are very, very special and simply great!
But one especially noteworthy story will definitely stick in my memory, the story of Jamie Hodson (21.03.1965 – 1.12.2008), co-founder of the Ozone Coffee Roasters, who lost his battle with cancer. While reading about Jamie in the coffee I could almost feel his passion, the love, the happiness of those who met him and my thoughts were with my friends who also lost their battle…you’ll find his story here.
